Film & TV experience, long-standing motor-trade connections and UK-wide vehicle supply give production teams practical support for demanding vehicle briefs.
We understand the practical demands surrounding production vehicles, filming locations, drivers and scheduled shoot requirements.
Our established industry connections help locate specific makes, models, periods, colours and body styles.
Production vehicles can be delivered to filming locations throughout the UK and collected after their work is complete.
You’ll deal with one contact who can coordinate sourcing, preparation, drivers, transport and collection.
CMC has introduced a growing range of fully electric vehicles for on-screen use. The current selection includes saloon cars, SUVs, taxis, commercial vans, an electric police car and an electric police forensic vehicle.
The vehicles are available to productions across the UK and provide more choice for contemporary settings, emergency scenes and projects requiring recognisable electric models. Delivery, collection and drivers can be arranged around the filming schedule.
CMC is continuing to expand the range, with plans to add more electric emergency vehicles.
CMC can coordinate the practical requirements surrounding each vehicle, including preparation, transport and suitable drivers. This gives production teams one direct contact for the vehicle and the support needed to get it ready for production.
Vehicles can be transported to the filming location and collected when their work on the production is complete.
Temporary wrapping and vehicle preparation can create the required colour, livery or on-screen appearance for a scene.
Appropriately insured drivers, precision drivers and stunt support can be arranged to meet the production brief.
Camera-tracking vehicles are available for productions requiring controlled moving shots and vehicle sequences.
Send the requirements for your production and we’ll review the vehicle, preparation, driver and transport arrangements needed for the shoot.
1
Tell us the vehicle type, filming location, required dates and how it will be used in the scene. Include any requirements for colour, livery, driver or transport.
2
We’ll check suitable options across our available vehicles and established motor-trade network, then discuss the closest matches for your brief.
3
Once a vehicle is agreed, any wrapping, paint colour changes, preparation, driver support and delivery requirements can be organised around the production schedule.
4
The vehicle can be delivered to the agreed filming location and collected after its work on the production is complete.
Established over 15 years ago, our father and son business is based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Production teams receive direct, practical support from people who understand the vehicle brief and remain involved throughout the job.
More than 35 years of motor-trade experience provides the knowledge and industry connections needed to identify, source and prepare vehicles for on-screen use. This background is particularly valuable when a brief calls for a specific period, model, colour or body style.
Our Film & TV experience spans more than a decade and includes work connected with BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Amazon, alongside productions such as Happy Valley, Vera, Emmerdale, Blue Jean, Anansi Boys and The Dumping Ground.

Alongside our Film & TV vehicle work, we also provide electric vehicle servicing and number-plate manufacturing in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Electric vehicle servicing is available for customers in Newcastle and the surrounding area. Contact us with your vehicle details and the work required.
Number plates are manufactured by a registered DVLA number-plate supplier. Speak with the team about the type of plate required.
FAQs
We supply Film & TV production vehicles, action vehicles, emergency and specialist vehicles, vintage and period vehicles, and fully electric options.
The Vehicles / Gallery page presents a selected range rather than every vehicle that may be available. If the required type is not displayed, send us the make, model, period, body style and colour so we can check suitable options within the wider fleet and motor-trade network.
Yes. Our motor-trade connections allow us to search beyond the vehicles currently displayed online.
A detailed brief helps narrow the search to vehicles that match the production’s visual and practical requirements. Useful details include the make, model, year or period, body style, colour, condition and intended use. We can then investigate suitable options and discuss any preparation, delivery or driver support required.
Include the vehicle type, preferred make or model, period, body style, colour, filming location and required dates.
We also need to know if the vehicle will be stationary or driven, who is expected to drive it and what the scene involves. Add any requirements for wrapping, livery, preparation, delivery, collection, precision driving, stunt support or camera tracking. Reference photographs are useful when the vehicle needs to achieve a particular on-screen appearance.
Send the brief as early as practical because vehicle availability, sourcing, preparation and transport must be checked against the filming dates.
More time is particularly useful when the production needs a specific period, make, model, body style or colour. It also allows time to discuss temporary wrapping, drivers and delivery arrangements. Short-notice requirements can still be discussed, but the vehicle and supporting services must be confirmed before they are included in the production schedule.
Yes. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, we supply Film & TV production vehicles to filming locations throughout the UK.
Delivery and collection can be arranged around the agreed location and filming dates. Providing accurate access information, arrival requirements and expected collection time helps the vehicle movement fit the production schedule. Any driver or preparation requirements should be included in the same brief so the full arrangement can be reviewed together.
Yes. Vehicles can be wrapped, repainted or prepared to achieve the required colour, livery or on-screen appearance for a particular scene.
Wrapping or painting may allow an otherwise suitable vehicle to meet the visual brief without searching for another version in the required finish. Share reference images and explain how the vehicle will appear in the scene. The proposed preparation can then be considered alongside the vehicle, filming dates and intended use.
Yes. Appropriately insured vehicles and drivers are available for Film and Television production work.
The correct arrangement depends on how the vehicle will be used. A stationary background vehicle, a normally driven scene, precision driving and stunt-related work may involve different requirements. Explain the planned action, filming environment and proposed driver when submitting the brief so the vehicle and driver arrangements can be discussed accurately.
Yes. Precision drivers, stunt support and camera-tracking vehicles are available where they form part of the production requirement.
Precision driving can support controlled, repeatable vehicle movement during filming. Stunt support may be needed for more demanding action, while a camera-tracking vehicle allows moving footage to be captured alongside the subject vehicle. Include the planned shot, location and vehicle movement in the initial brief so the appropriate support can be discussed.
Yes. Our growing electric production range includes saloon cars, SUVs, taxis, commercial vehicles and emergency vehicle options.
These vehicles give production teams more choice when a fully electric vehicle is required on screen. Availability should be checked against the filming dates and visual brief. We are continuing to expand the electric range, including plans to add further electric emergency vehicles.
Send the vehicle requirement, filming dates, location and a clear description of how the vehicle will be used.
Include any requirements for sourcing, preparation, wrapping, delivery, collection, drivers, precision driving, stunt support or camera tracking. These details allow the full production requirement to be reviewed rather than considering the vehicle separately from the work needed around it.
